What you will need:
- 4 pounds of lean ground beef or ground chuck
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of the Italian bread crumbs (store bought are fine)
- ½ cup finely chopped onion (optional)
- 1 small can of water chestnuts (optional with onions or to replace them)
- 2 teaspoons of Worchester sauce
How to do it:
- Beat your eggs in a large bowl followed.
- Add remaining ingredients except beef.
- Now add your beef.
- Mix well and add a little salt and pepper.
*I add a little garlic powder. - Make into 1” firm meatballs and place on a non stick large cookie sheet without touching each other.
- Bake on 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
*Let them cool. I put 30 meatballs in each gallon freezer zip lock bag. Then wrap with freezer paper, label and date. You should have four frozen bags depending on the size or your meatballs and if you choose to put less or more in the bags.
